This week, several HIT Board Members and staff had the opportunity to tour U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod. We were accompanied by U.S. Coast Guard Base Cape Cod Commanding Officer Capt. Michael Lachowicz.

The tour included an up close look at the equipment being used by the Coast Guard to ensure the safety, security, and stewardship of the region’s maritime waters.

The real highlight was interacting with the individuals who are helping to carry out that mission. A special thanks to Capt. Lachowicz, Command Office Secretary Ellie Russo, AST1 Derrian Duryea, AETC Rob Smoyer, and LT Sam Hart for the warm welcome and for all you do in service to our country.

At HIT, we know how much our service members and their families sacrifice to keep our country safe, strong, and healthy, especially those right here on Cape Cod. HIT will always be here for you.
