Thank You For Giving Hope and
Healing To Our Military Heroes
On Saturday night at our Fall Gala, Ellen and David Berube spoke about the challenges they have faced as a result of David’s military service. A retired military chaplain, David has lived with PTSD since 2018.
A little less than a year later, the Berubes were introduced to HIT, attending our Fall Couples Retreat. Since then, Ellen and David have participated in several of our programs — outings for military spouses in Provincetown and in Plymouth; our Veterans Equine Warrior Program in Sandwich; and subsequent Couples Retreats.
“HIT is more than another resource. More than just a place for help. It is a home for healing and hope,” David said on Saturday.
On behalf of all we serve, thank you for giving all we serve not only the help they need, but a home where they can heal, and where they are given the hope that things can and will get better.
If you missed Saturday’s Gala, you can still make a donation that will ensure veterans like David and spouses like Ellen have access to resources that can help them overcome the challenges that come with military life.
Thank You To Our Co-Chairs!
Going Above and Beyond
Since this summer, HIT Board Members Kristen Boyd and Sarah Daley have spent countless hours co-chairing our Fall Gala.
Together, they helped create an event that epitomized the best qualities of HIT. We’re so grateful for the time, effort, and passion they and the Fall Gala Committee put into making Saturday’s event a success!
2022 Year In Review
At our Fall Gala, we showed our 2022 Year in Review video in which veterans, military couples, and military spouses spoke about our programs and how they have positively impacted their lives.
